Catholic Marketing Network coming up!...

The Catholic Marketing Network will hold its 2014 International Trade Show in Chicago on July 29th – August 1st.

“We’re very excited about returning to Chicago,” said CMN President Alan Napleton. “We last held our CMN summer event in Chicago in 2003 and it was our largest gathering ever so we think the timing is right to return to the Midwest.”

“We’re also very happy to announce the show will again be held in tandem with the annual gathering of the Catholic Writers Guild. This will be the fifth year we’ve combined the meetings of the two groups,” explained Guild President Ellen Gable Hrkach. “The synergy that has been created at these gatherings is both very exciting and very productive, and it will be great to bring our combined event to the Chicago area.”

The event will take place at the beautiful Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and Hotel located just 12 miles from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. Both the hotel and convention center are part of the same facility so attendees staying at the hotel can conveniently walk to all events.

This is an important show for Servant Books. We have a large booth where we will host author book signings, meet with potential authors, and participate in the Catholic Writers Guild workshops. This year, our featured authors include Brian O’Neel, Marcellino D’Ambrosio, and Gina Loehr, all who will be signing copies of their latest books. I’ll also be giving a talk at one of the Catholic Writers Guild sessions.

If you’re looking for something to do in the Chicago area, check this convention out — and don’t forget to stop by the Servant booth and say hello!

"And now let us begin this journey, the Bishop and people, this journey of the Church of Rome, which presides in charity over all the Churches, a journey of brotherhood in love, of mutual trust. Let us always pray for one another. Let us pray for the whole world that there might be a great sense of brotherhood.

I will now give my blessing to you and to the whole world, to all men and women of good will."

-Papa Francis quote

He does not know you, yet he prays for you.
He will most likely never meet you, yet he loves you.

This is your chance to show your love, for as the Bible teaches, "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven."
